My sister-in-law Mary Ann's mother passed away on Saturday night. She was what most people would say is old....Ninety something....Mary Ann had been making many trips back and forth to New York to care for her mother and I know that it has not been easy for Mary Ann. So I am thinking of her today....
I continue to say many prayers for my Dad....I have not mentioned his health issues yet on my blog but I will take time to do that today. He has Lung Cancer and we are praying for a simple surgical removal of the tumor and then a nice short road to recovery!! It is looking as though that will be the case and just in case you think of it, any and all prayers seem to be working, so feel free to join the kids, Tom and I as we keep praying and being positive!
Margaret spent some time in the kitchen on Saturday and wanted me to post this picture knowing that Pops would be impressed! The bread was yummy and did not last long at all!
That Margaret, she is too much! She just won another award at school for Most Improved Student. She recieved a free ticket to a Sea Dogs game, that will be FUN!!
Speaking of baseball, last Thursday, Margaret tried out for the junior high softball team. The team is usually just 7th and 8th graders but because they were short a few players they let the 6th grade girls try out. 9 girls tried out for 2 spots....Margaret was their first choice ( so says the baseball coach who helped judge them) She did an awesome job!
Taf has been practicing with his team and Quinn has also been playing. The snow outside does not seem to be melting fast enough but we are getting there!
Kathleen had a very exciting thing happen on Saturday......
