Hit One to your Mama

So the season has ended and the Auburn All Stars finished the 5 day tournament with a 3 and 2 record.

There first loss was against Cape Elizabeth and it was a fantastic game. The score at then end was tied and we had to play an extra inning. Cape squeeked out a run and won the game.

The next loss was awful......our team made some bad plays....but it was also fueled by some bad calls. Balls bouncing off of home plate, that were called "balls"...... runners who were safe called out.....
It left a real sour taste in your mouth at the end of that game....stupid softball!

And finally yesterdays game was another win and another great game. I spent a lot of time standing out behind center field and saying " Hit one to your Mama"
Margaret had some great hits and got two out to her Mama...... at the games end was awarded teh honor or " Best Offensive Player" her friend Corey was "Best Defensive Player"
I think Margaret had 5 0r 6 RBI's and then the runs she came in on too....The girls were hitting them!
