Seven on wheels

It is official, a huge milestone, all five of my children can ride a two wheel bike!! Kathleen made the official transition from training wheels to no training wheels on Thursday, it took her about three tries to get the hang of it and off she went, now there is no stopping her!

We have done some fun stuff theses last few days before school starts. We visited the SS John Brown in the Old Port this week....that was really cool....... We had fun exploring the ship.

There was a museum down below deck with photo's and memorabilia. Very interesting. I thought of my Dad while on board and wished he was there to explore the ship with us. By the sounds of what I just said, it makes it seem like he was lost in WWII, but he was just a kid then, he is in RI and doing just fine !! He had visited a few weeks earlier and we were in the Old Port but the ship was not in port then!

Uncle Ray came to visit us last weekend, we went to Maine Wildlife Park.....
We didn't take too many pictures.
We have done lots of Back to School shopping and I am sure my next blog entry will be of my kids on teh first day of school. Kathleen will be in kindergarten!! Patrick grade 2, Margaret 6th and Quinn 7th and Taf 10th......Oh my Goodness!
